Numberland Update

The children have been busy creating installations, games and artworks for Numberland. Some children have been 'commissioned' to turn their number art into large-scale artworks for Numberland. Each homegroup has been given part of the maths/performance room to work in and have come up with 4 unique mathematical experiences. Parents will be able to visit Numberland during our Imagination Day which will be at the end of the term.

Yellow group are going to be creating a maths library, the children have been planning the books and what to put in the space to make it inviting.

Red group are making a number fruit tree, each piece of fruit has a number from 1-10. Visitors to Numberland will be challenged to make a number by collecting fruit from the tree.

Blue group are creating a magnetic number board at the front of the maths room.

Green group are making a shop where visitors can spend 10 Prep dollars.

How can you help:
We would like to make number pillows for the number library, if you can sew and can assist us with this please speak with Jessica or Elizabeth.
