Graphing our data from the Melbourne Zoo

This week we looked through some of the data we collected on our zoo excursion last week. The children compared the number of animals we saw and counted at the zoo using a bar graph. The children had to decipher each others visual representations of animals, read the numbers and count out the unifix blocks needed for each animal. The children worked in groups and organised who was in taking on what task to create the graph. 

After some discussion Matilda R thought we could call our graph 'Animals we saw at the Zoo'
